The One-Idea Week is a Claude skill, a file that does the same job the same way every time: you hand it one idea and it gives back seven days of distinct posts, a mix of hooks, captions, a carousel, and a reel script, because a good idea has more than one angle and a model is good at finding them.

What makes one idea stretch to a week
- Feed it one sharp idea, not a broad topic. "AI can plan your week" is a topic and it goes nowhere. "I gave Claude my calendar and it caught two double-bookings" is an idea, because a specific claim splits into angles a vague topic cannot.
- Make it turn the idea, not reword it. Each day gets a different lens: a how-to one day, a myth you bust the next, a story, a contrarian take, because the same point posted seven ways reads as spam and a reader clocks it fast.
- Mix the formats on purpose. One idea should fill a few shapes: short hooks, a full caption, a carousel outline, a reel script, because each platform rewards a different form and repurposing one idea across them is how a week gets covered without seven new ideas.
- Force seven different hooks. The hook is the line that stops the scroll, so the skill writes a distinct opener for every day, because seven similar first lines kill reach even when the posts underneath are good.
- Leave gaps instead of inventing. Where a post wants a number or a detail you have not given, the skill leaves a bracket for you to fill, because a made-up stat is the fastest way to lose the trust the whole week is meant to build.

A good idea is specific enough to have angles, for example "I used AI to sort my inbox and it saved me an hour a day", not a broad topic like "AI and productivity". If what they gave you is a broad topic, offer them two or three sharper ideas inside it and ask which one to run with. ## Step 2: Find the angles From that one idea, find seven distinct angles. Use a different lens each day so no two posts feel the same. Draw from: the how-to, the mistake most people make, the myth to bust, the personal story or before-and-after, the contrarian take, the surprising result, the quick tip, the honest limit. Pick the seven that fit the idea best. Never reuse an angle in the same week. ## Step 3: Assign formats across the week Spread the idea across formats so the week is not seven of the same thing. Across the seven days, include at least: three short-form hooks with a one-line caption each, two full captions, one carousel outline (a cover line plus five to seven slide lines), and one reel or short-video script (hook, three points with a reason each, a payoff line, a call to action). Match the format to the angle: a story suits a caption, a how-to suits a carousel or reel. ## Step 4: Write a distinct hook for every day Every post opens with a different hook. No two hooks may share the same shape or first few words. Vary them: a question, a bold claim, a "most people think X" line, a number, a short story opener. The hook must pay off the post underneath it. If two hooks come out similar, rewrite one. ## Step 5: Keep it honest Never invent a statistic, a result, a name, or a detail the user did not give you. If a post needs a real number or specific detail to land, write it as a bracket for the user to fill, for example "[your real number here]", and say what you left out. Do not guess and do not round a made-up figure to make it look real. If you cannot verify something from what the user told you, leave the bracket. ## Step 6: Sound like a person, not a brand Plain words only. No jargon, no hype, no corporate filler. Short, spoken sentences. No emoji unless the user uses them. Cut any line the user would not say out loud to a friend. ## Output format Return the week as Day 1 to Day 7. For each day give: the format, the angle in a few words, the hook, and the full post (or the carousel slides / reel script for those days). At the end, list any brackets the user still needs to fill, so they can see in one glance what is missing before they post.
Where the line is
- The honest bit: it gives you a strong first draft for seven days, not seven finished posts. You still pick which angles are actually yours, fill the brackets with real detail, and read each one back before it goes out.
- It stretches one idea; it cannot make a weak idea good. Feed it something specific you already believe, not a topic you are hoping to fake enthusiasm for.
