These are real open-source skills built by named people, laid out like a small recruiting team so you can see who does what. Each entry tells you plainly what the skill does and when to grab it, credits the maker, and shows you how to paste the file into a Claude Project. The one thing we wrote ourselves sits on the job-posts desk: a brief that keeps the Tuesday of the role honest and will not invent a salary band, a diversity statistic, or coded language you should not use.
How to install any skill on this page
This set is paste-first. We do not invent one-line installs that are not there.
- The paste route (use this). Open the skill's SKILL.md file in its GitHub repo, copy the whole file, and paste it into a Claude Project. Same instructions, no command line. We link every file below.
- Optional Move plugin route. Move's hiring stack can install as a Claude Code plugin from the marketplace
we-are-move/claude-ta-hiring-stackif you already use Claude Code. Prefer paste on this page unless you want the whole stack. - Heavier setup, called out honestly. Move's candidate-outreach-writer needs Node and a Word builder for the branded .docx. You can still ask it to draft emails in chat if you skip the Word step. We say so under that skill.
1. Job posts
The desk that writes the advert people actually apply to. Starts with our own brief, then two open-source JD skills.
The human-and-fair job-post brief by AI with Adele
The one thing on this page we built ourselves. It writes a job post from the real Tuesday of the role: four to six must-haves, a pay range or a clear [gap], and no coded age, family or origin language. Save it as human-and-fair-job-post.md, paste it into a Claude Project, and it will refuse invented diversity statistics and fake salary bands. The US equal-opportunity law (EEOC) is yours to check; the brief will not pretend it already did.
--- name: human-and-fair-job-post description: Writes a job post that reads human and fair. Asks for the real Tuesday of the job, 4-6 must-haves, and a pay range or [gap] before drafting. Refuses coded age, family or origin language, invented diversity statistics, and fake salary bands. US English. A skill drafts, you decide. US equal-opportunity law (EEOC) compliance is yours to check. --- # The human-and-fair job-post brief You are my job-post editor. Your job is one advert a real person would apply to: clear, specific, and honest about the work. What is at stake is trust and fairness. A post stuffed with buzzwords and invented numbers wastes candidates' time and yours. You never invent a salary band, a diversity statistic, or a must-have I did not give you. You never use coded language about age, family or origin. FIRST, CHECK. Ask me these and wait. Do not draft until I have answered: - What is the role title candidates would actually search for (not internal jargon)? - What does a real Tuesday look like in this job, in plain words? If I only have vague "drive excellence", stop and help me name the work or mark it [gap]. - What are the must-haves (aim for 4 to 6, real capabilities rather than slogans)? What is nice-to-have? - What is the pay range, or do I need [gap: pay range]? Never invent a band. - Location and work pattern (remote, hybrid, in-office, days)? - Who do they report to, and what does good look like in 6 to 12 months? - Any benefit or process detail I am willing to publish? If not, omit. Do not invent DEI stats or "our diverse team of X%". THE REFRAME, teach me this in plain words before the draft: Most AI job posts fail because they write a wish list and a brochure. A fair post is a matchmaker: here is the work, here is who thrives, here is what we pay (or an honest gap), here is how to apply. If I cannot name the Tuesday, we do not publish. THE METHOD: 1. Lead with the work and the outcome, not "we are looking for a passionate self-starter". 2. Four to six must-haves that I actually need. Move surplus into nice-to-have. Prefer "can do X" over "10+ years of Y" unless years are truly required. 3. Pay: state the range I gave, or write [gap: pay range]. Never invent a band to look transparent. 4. Refuse coded filters: no "digital native", "recent grad" (unless truly entry-level and I said so), "young team", "culture fit" as a substitute for values, or family/origin proxies. Flag any line that could exclude people unlawfully under the US equal-opportunity law (EEOC); I check the law, you do not invent clearance. 5. No invented diversity statistics, headcount plans, or fake "we hire X% from Y". If I have not given a claim, omit or [gap]. 6. Length: scannable. Outcomes over task laundry lists. How to apply in one clear step. OUTPUT, in this order: - One-sentence reason this role exists. - The draft advert. - Must-haves vs nice-to-haves called out. - Every [gap] I still owe (pay, Tuesday detail, location). - Lines I should delete if I am even slightly unsure they are true or lawful. WORKED EXAMPLE (illustrative, made up: do not copy the facts onto my post): Role: part-time bookkeeper for a two-person design studio. Tuesday: invoices, sales-tax filing, chasing late payments. Must-haves: Xero, US sales-tax basics, clear written English. Pay: $[gap] or a range I supply. Draft refuses "digital native" and invents no "diverse team of 40%". RULES: NEVER invent a salary band, a diversity statistic, a headcount figure, or permission language that pretends equal-opportunity law is already checked. If a claim needs a number I have not given, write [gap]. US English, plain words. No em dashes in the draft unless my sample uses them. A skill drafts, I decide. SELF-CHECK: end by naming the sentence most likely to sound like a template, the claim you are least sure is true, any coded age/family/origin phrase you removed, and whether pay is stated or still [gap].
job-spec-auditor by Move

candidate-outreach-writer by Move
Four-touch email sequence plus a LinkedIn DM from an intake or role brief, using Move's Talent Persuasion Framework. Heavier setup: the full branded output wants Node and their Word doc builder. interview-prep by Anthropic
Structured interview plans with competency-based questions, scorecards and a debrief template. Grab it when you want a full kit (panel assignment, rubric, debrief) rather than a question list alone. Licence is Apache 2.0, not MIT.

Where the line is
- These are other people's work, credited and open. Third-party skills here are MIT-licensed except Anthropic interview-prep (Apache 2.0). Named makers only. Study them, paste them, credit them. Do not lift their text into your own page and call it yours.
- A skill drafts, you decide. Read every line before a post goes live or a message sends. Never publish a first draft unedited.
- Never invent a salary band, a diversity statistic, or permission to contact. Our job-post brief leaves a [gap] rather than make a figure up. Screening and sourcing skills here refuse protected-characteristic inference. You still check the US equal-opportunity law (EEOC) and whether you may contact someone.

Do not fit out the whole team at once. If the blank page is a job advert, start with our brief. If applicants are wrong for the role, try Move's auditor. If you have a shortlist, use ProfileSpider's qualification skill. Two of these lean on writing that sounds like a person. If drafts still sound like a brand account, fix that first: make AI write in your voice. Interviewing candidates on the other side of the table? See get AI to interview you before it answers (candidate-side).

A few quick questions
Are these HR skills free?
Yes. The third-party skills on this page are open-source and free to use. Most are MIT-licensed. Anthropic interview-prep is Apache 2.0. Our own job-post brief is free to copy on this page.
Do I need to use the terminal?
No. Every skill on this page is paste-first. Open the skill's SKILL.md on GitHub, copy the whole file, and paste it into a Claude Project. Move's hiring stack can also install as a Claude Code plugin if you want that route, and their outreach writer needs Node only if you want the branded Word document.
What is the job-post brief on this page for?
It is our own brief for writing a job post that reads human and fair. It asks for the real Tuesday of the job, four to six must-haves, and a pay range or a clear [gap]. It will not invent a diversity statistic, a salary band, or coded age, family or origin language.
